Compared to last week's very light receipts steer calves under 650 lbs sold with a sharply higher undertone, over 650 lbs were not tested on a light offering. Feeder heifers weighing under 650 lbs sold with a higher undertone and over 650 lbs not well tested. Feeders sold in mostly small groups and packages with a part load of 815 lb heifers selling with moderate to good demand on a moderate supply. Slaughter cows sold fully steady with a nice offering of choice slaughter steers and heifers trading with a higher undertone. Expecting a large run of feeders for next week's special feeder cattle auction.
