Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer calves under 600 lbs sold firm to 5.00 higher with the most advance on the 4 weights, 600-800 lb sold steady. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs sold with a sharply higher undertone compared to a light offering two weeks ago, 5 weights were lightly tested with 600-800 lbs selling mostly steady on similar quality and weights and 4 pot loads of 910-1005 heifers sold with a firm to higher undertone. Demand was moderate to good with supply moderate. The highlight of the sale was the consignment of near 250 head of 820-1000 lb heifers selling with good demand along with 400-600 lb steer calves and 400-500 lb heifers all selling on and active market. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm with slaughter steers and heifers selling steady to 3.00 higher on a light test.
