Compared to the last special two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers weighing under 600 lbs sold 10.00-20.00 higher with instances 25.00 higher, steer and heifers weighing 600-700 lbs sold 5.00-10.00 higher and over 700 lbs were lightly tested. Slaughter cows sold fully steady to firm, with slaughter steers and heifers steady to 2.00 higher. Demand was good to very good on a heavy offering of feeders. Trade was very active on steer and heifer calves weighing 400-650 lbs with impressive sales and several stick-out sales of 5 weight steers and heifers overall a good quality offering of calves as buyers were eager to put together strings of feeders.
