Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer calves under 550 lbs were not tested, 550-600 lbs sold 3.00-5.00 higher, 600-700 lbs sold 3.00-7.00 higher, 700-750 lbs sold with a sharply higher undertone, with yearlings over 750 lbs not tested. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs sold steady to firm, 500-650 lbs sold firm to 5.00 higher with the most advance on the 550-650 lb heifers, 700-750 lb sold 5.00-6.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good on a moderate to heavy offering. The best demand was on steers and heifer weighing 550-750 lbs. Several part loads and pot loads of top quality black heifers weighing 625-775 lbs with a good quality offering of steers weighing 600-750 lbs all sold on and active market. Slaughter cows sold firm to 2.00 higher.
