Compared to last week, feeder steers under 550 lbs were not well tested, with 550-750 lbs selling steady and a light test over 750 lbs trading with a lower undertone. Feeder heifers weighing 500-700 lbs on comparable sales sold mostly 3.00-6.00 lower with overall quality not as attractive as last week, with a alight test over 700 lbs selling with a lower undertone. Slaughter cows on a nice offering sold steady to firm. Demand was moderate to good best on steer calves weighing 500-725 lbs with supply moderate. The only news that seemed to matter this week was about the effects of the coronavirus which sent markets tumbling lower this week especially in the ag markets and commodities with the Stock Market falling over 600 points on Friday..
