Compared to the most recent sale two weeks ago, steers under 700lbs traded mostly 4.00 to 8.00 higher with spots up to 15.00 higher on lightweight calves. Steers over 700lbs had little to compare to, but traded with a steady undertone. Feeder heifers under 550lbs traded 1.00 to 3.00 higher and heifers over 550 traded mostly steady. A strong run of feeders this week with many large groups of high quality weaned cattle. Supply of feeders was heavy and demand was good. Slaughter cows traded 5.00 to 9.00 higher and slaughter bulls 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Supply was moderate for slaughter cattle and demand moderate to light. Too few replacement cattle for a market comparison.
