Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 lower on a light test. Last Friday's Cattle on Feed Report showed cattle on feed at 100 percent, Placements at 98 percent and Marketings at 102 percent. The July 1st cattle Inventory report released last Friday showed all cattle and calves in the US totaling 98.8 million head down 2 percent from last year.
