Slaughter cows on a much lighter offering sold mostly steady with the bulk mostly average dressing cows. July corn closed 23 1/4 cents higher at 8.07 with December corn up 14 1/2 cents at 7.49 3/4 putting significant pressure on the Feeder Cattle contracts with the front months down ranging from 2.42 to 2.87 lower.
