Compared to last week, 400-500 lb steer calves sold with a higher undertone with last week's light test, 500-600 lb steers traded firm to 3.00 higher, 600-700 lbs steers sold firm to 5.00 higher, spots 8.00 higher on the 650-700 lb steers, 700-800 lbs sold steady and three pot loads of 875-900 lb yearlings sold with a higher undertone with a limited test from last week. Feeder heifers weighing under 450 lbs sold with a higher undertone on few comparable sales from last week, 450-550 lbs sold 5.00-8.00 higher, 600-700 lbs sold 4.00-6.00 higher and over 700 lbs were not tested. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm. Demand was good with supply heavy. There was a lot of top quality steer and heifer calves weighing from 400-650 lbs on offer and eleven pot loads of yearlings all selling on and active market with good demand.
