Feeder steers 450 lbs and under were sharply lower, while the 500-700 lbs steers were 3.00 to 5.00 lower with moderate demand. Feeder heifers 400 lbs and under were sharply lower, while heifers 500 lbs and over were steady to 4.00 lower with a good supply and spotty demand. Buyers were active today, however bawling, off colored, and plainer quality cattle received heavy discounts. Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00 lower with a good supply and slaughter bulls were 2.00 to 4.00 lower with good demand.
