Compared to last Saturday feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady to 2.00 higher with a good supply and good demand. Yearling appeared stronger but with limited comparisons. Buyers were active today and willing to pay premiums for weaned and harder conditioned calves, while discounting the fatter new crop calves coming straight off the cow. Slaughter cows were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with a good supply and slaughter bulls were 2.00 higher with good demand.
