Compared to last Thursday: Feeder steers traded sharply higher. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs. sold 3.00-5.00 higher and those over 600 lbs. were sharply higher. Today's offering contained a large number of high quality calves that were in very desirable condition and the buyers reacted by paying premiums for those calves. Slaughter cows sold 4.00-5.00 higher and slaughter bulls were mostly steady.
