Compared to last Tuesday the feeder market was uneven. Good quality feeder steers sold steady to 2.00 higher, however buyers lowered the premiums paid for the value added cattle 6.00 to 8.00 in nearly all weight groups. Feeder heifers under 400 lbs were steady to 2.00 higher and 400 - 600 lbs heifers were down sharply. Feeder bulls sold 2.00 to 6.00 lower with an average quality offering. Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00 lower and slaughter bulls were steady with a good supply and good demand.
