Compared to last Wednesday the feeder market was mostly stronger with an average quality offering. Feeder steers 400-600 lbs were 5.00 10.00 higher with a limited supply and strong demand for long weaned calves. Feeder heifers 400-600 lbs were steady to 5.00 higher in spots with a good supply and good demand. Buyers were active today and willing to pay premiums for quality cattle, while discounting fatter bawling calves severely and increasing the price spreads in most weight classes. Slaughter cows were 5.00 to 7.00 lower with a moderate supply and slaughter bulls were 4.00 to 5.00 lower with moderate demand.
