Compared to last Tuesday the feeder market was stronger with a good quality but mostly yearling offering. Feeder steers 400 lbs and under appeared stronger with a lite test, while the 450-600 lbs steers were 5.00 to 10.00 higher with a moderate supply and good demand for weaned calves. Yearling steers were unevenly steady ranging from 5.00 higher to 5.00 lower in spots with a good supply and good demand for greener and harder conditioned yearlings. Feeder heifers 450 lbs and under appeared steady with a lite test, while the 500-700 lbs heifers were 5.00 to 10.00 higher with a good supply and good demand. Slaughter cows were 2.00 to 3.00 lower with a moderate supply and slaughter bulls were steady with good demand.
