Compared to last Monday feeder steers under 600 lbs sold unevenly steady to 2.00 lower with good demand on weaned offerings. Feeder heifers sold unevenly steady. Yearlings sold 2.00 lower. Softer undertone noted on 600-700 lb steers in a light test. Quality was plain through good. More new crop calves starting to come to town the last two weeks and those calves facing discounts as buyers showing more interest in hard weaned calves. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold 2.00 higher with good demand.
