Compared to last Monday feeder steers under 600 lbs sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower on a plain through average quality offering; over 600 lbs sold steady. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower with some featherweight heifers sharply lower without the farmer participation in the market we experienced last week; over 600 lbs sold steady. More plain quality and fleshy calves carrying some mud seemed to depress calf market today compared to last week. Yearlings lightly tested. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold steady with good demand.
