Due to the weather and the markets some producers did not bring their calves today. The barn originally had around 3000 consigned, and we ended up with just over 1000. The majority of cattle today where unweaned, with vaccinations. Compared to last week's regular sale, steers sold mostly 20.00 to 30.00 lower, while heifers sold 10.00 to 15.00 lower. Receipts were light with good demand. Again due to the rain, a lot of buyers showed for the sale.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
