Nice run of cattle to start the new year. Compared to 2 weeks ago steer 600 to 800 lbs sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher and steers over 850 sold 4.00 to 9.00 higher. Heifers 550 to 800 lbs sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower with the exception of 650 lb heifers that sold 5.00 higher and 800 to 900 lb heifers sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher. The receipts were moderate with good demand.
