Compared to last week 500 to 650 lb steers sold 7.00 to 9.00 higher, due to the demand for grass cattle . Steers over 650 lbs sold mostly 4.00 to 7.00 lower. The 400 to 600 lb heifers sold 6.00 to 10.00 higher, again due to the demand for grass cattle. Heifers over 600 lbs sold 10.00 lower. The receipts were moderate to heavy with lighter demand.
