Compared to last week slaughter steers and heifers were 3.00 higher with a good offering of steers and heifers and active buyer participation on higher quality steers and heifers. No Holstein slaughter steers today. Cows were 1.00 to 3.00 lower and bulls instances of higher/lower this week. Feeder steers were sharply higher with feeder heifers steady to firm and feeders bulls sharply higher with some good fancy type feeders and good buyer interest.
