Compared to last week slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 higher with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 6.00 higher and good packer interest on higher quality steers and heifers. No Holstein slaughter steers last week to compare but were trending higher today. Cows were 4.00 to 9.00 higher with bulls 7.00 higher active bidding and a good offering of high dressing cows and bulls. Feeder steers were trending higher with feeder heifers steady to firm and feeder bulls instances of higher/lower with a good offering of fancy type feeders today.
