Compared to last week slaughter steers were 1.00 lower with slaughter heifers instances of higher/lower and lower packer inquiry but higher quality steers and heifers are in good demand. No comparison on Holstein slaughter steers this week. Cows and bulls had instances of higher/lower with good demand on cows and bulls. All classes of feeder calves were sharply higher with good fancy and value added feeders today and active buyer participation.
