Compared to last week slaughter steers had instances of higher/lower and slaughter heifers also were higher/lower with a good offering with higher prices on higher quality steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers were 2.00 higher and Dairy/Beef steers were 2.00 higher with a good test of both. Dairy/Beef heifers were 1.00 lower on a good offering. Cows were 4.00 to 6.00 lower and bulls had no offering last week but they were trending mostly steady today. Feeder steers were unevenly steady and feeder heifers were trending steady and feeder bulls had no offering last week but were trending steady and some fancy type and value added feeders at a better value.
