Compared to last week slaughter steers were 1.00 higher and slaughter heifers 2.00 higher with good value on high quality steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers were trending lower on a light test and Dairy/Beet steers were 8.00 higher on a good offering this week and Dairy/Beef heifers trending lower. Cows were 2.00 to 5.00 lower and bulls trending higher today. All classes of feeder calves were significantly higher with better buyer interest and a good offering of value added Dairy/Beef steers and heifers at a good value and active bidding today. There wad a good offering of Bred Replacement cows and heifers and lost of buyer interest today.
