Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week slaughter steers were 2.00 higher with slaughter heifers were mostly steady with lower packer inquiry this week but a good offering today. Holstein slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 lower today. Cows were 3.00 to 5.00 lower with no bulls this week. Feeder steers were trending lower and feeder heifers significantly higher with no feeder bulls last week but were trending higher today. A good offering of Holstein feeders and Dairy/Beef feeders with good groups value added and active buyer interest.
