Compared to last week, slaughter steers were mostly steady and Holstein slaughter steers were 2.00 higher. Slaughter heifers were 7.00 lower and Holstein slaughter heifers were 1.00 lower. Slaughter cows were 5.00 lower and Holstein slaughter cows were mostly steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls were 12.00 higher and Holstein slaughter bulls were trending lower based on a limited comparison. Choice/prime slaughter lambs were 9.00 higher with good demand. No comparison available on slaughter kids due to a limited comparison, but good demand was noted.
