Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 4.00 higher. Holstein slaughter steers were mostly steady. Slaughter heifers were 11.00 higher while Holstein slaughter heifers were trending lower based on light receipts. Slaughter bulls were trending lower based on a limited comparison. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to 1.00 lower. Heavy offerings of sheep and goats this week, in part, to the dry weather limiting the availability of pasture.
