Compared to last week Slaughter steers were 1.00 to 4.00 higher with slaughter heifers 2,00 higher and more packer interest this week and a good offering of higher quality steers and heifers. No Holstein slaughter steers today. Cows were 4.00 to 9.00 lower with Holstein cows 4.00 lower and bulls too few today to compare. Feeder steers and heifers trending higher with good value on value added feeders and feeder bulls had instances of higher/lower with a good offering of feeders and good buyer participation today.
