Compared to last week slaughter steers were 5.00 higher with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 3.00 higher with better packer interest today and good groups of high quality steers and heifers and active buyer participation. Holstein slaughter steers were 8.00 higher and Dairy/Beef steers were too few to compare but trending lower. Cows were 3.00 higher and Dairy cows 3.00 to 4.00 higher active bidding on all classes of cows and bulls 9.00 higher with a good offering of high dressing bulls. Feeder steers were trending higher with a light test and feeder heifers and bulls significantly higher with good fancy type and value added feeders this week.
