Compared to last week slaughter steers were 2.00 lower and slaughter heifers 3.00 to 7.00 lower with still lower packer inquiry but higher quality steers and heifers trending a little higher. Holstein slaughter steers were sharply higher with some good quality Holsteins today. Cows had instances of higher/lower with good buyer participation today and bulls too few to compare. Feeder steers were trending lower and feeder heifers significantly higher with feeder bulls too few and trending lower.
