Compared to last week slaughter steers and heifers were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with better packer interest this week and higher prices on higher quality steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers were significantly higher today. Cows were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with a good offering of high dressing breaker cows and bulls were had instances of higher/lower with good value on heavier high dressing bulls. Feeder steers were steady to lower with feeder heifers sharply higher and feeder bulls instances of higher/lower with a nice offering of feeders this week.
