Compared to last week slaughter steers and slaughter heifers had instances of higher/lower with a good offering and softer prices on higher quality steers and heifers. A light test of Holstein slaughter steers today that were 8.00 lower. Cows were 4.00 to 5.00 higher with active buyer participation and bulls had instances of higher/lower today with good offering of high dressing bulls. Feeder heifers and bulls were sharply higher with good offering of value added and fancy type heifers and bulls and feeder steers were mostly steady.
