Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers were 5.00 to 7.00 higher with higher packer inquiry and a good offering of steers and heifers and active buyer participation. Too few of Holstein slaughter to compare this week. Cows were 1.00 to 2.00 lower with bulls instances of higher/lower. Feeder steers were trending higher with feeder heifers mostly steady and feeder bulls trending lower but still good value on fancy type and value added feeders.
