Compared to last week, slaughter steers were steady to firm with slaughter heifers instances of higher/lower with a good offering of slaughter steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers were 6.00 higher today. Cows were significantly higher with bulls 4.00 lower this week. All classes of feeder cattle were sharply higher with some good groups of feeder.
