Today in Greenville, the third weaned and vaccinated feeder special of 2023 again provided an offering of well conditioned feeder steers and heifers. This well attended sale brought good to strong demand with many local producers supplementing their current feeder lots. 400-600lb feeder steers traded higher 9.00-13.00, with most weights seeing increases as compared to a month ago. Feeder heifers 400-600lbs also traded noticeably higher, posting gains of 13.00-16.00 as compared to a month ago. Light weight feeders continue to be in strong demand.
