Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week: Not enough choice slaughter steers and heifers to make a trend today. Mostly small strings, along with a load lot of heavyweight steers in the offering. Smaller crowd today, as field work is in full swing. Buyers were in the seats and demand was good.
