Compared to the sale two weeks ago, steers sold mostly 12.00 to 34.00 higher, while 5-weight cattle were sharply higher. Heifers 600 lbs. and heavier sold 4.00 to 10.00 higher, while ligher heifers were sharply higher. Demand was very good today. Supply was moderate to heavy and comprised mainly of smaller packages and just a handful of load lots.
