Compared to the sale a week ago, steers under 500 lbs. sold with a higher undertone, while heavier steers sold mostly 18.00 to 20.00 lower. Heifers under 500 lbs. sold mostly 5.00 to 17.00 higher, while heavier heifers sold with a lower undertone. Demand was good today. Supply was moderate to heavy and comprised mainly of bawling calves and just a few load lots.
