Western Iowa Preconditioned Sale. Compared to the sale last Thursday; steers 600-650 lbs 4.00-6.00 higher, 700 lbs mostly steady with lighter numbers, 750 lbs sharply higher, 800 lbs 3.00 higher. Heifers 600-650 lbs 12.00 to sharply higher, 700-750 lbs 2.00-4.00 higher, 850 lbs 9.00 higher. Most of the sale consisted of smaller strings with a load lot of yearling heifers. Demand good throughout the sale.
