Compared to the Feeder Calf Special 2 weeks ago, 500 - 600 lb steer calves were 10.00 to 14.00 higher, 700 lb calves were fully steady and heavier yearling cattle 5.00 to 12.00 higher. Heifer trade saw 500 - 600 lb calves as much as 10.00 to 20.00 higher with yearling weights 7.00 to 16.00 higher. Load lots of the heavier cattle were available today. Active internet bidding today. Demand was very good for today's moderate supply. The next scheduled Feeder Calf Special auction is April 8.
