Compared to the feeder auction one week ago, 400 - 450 lb steer feeders were as much as 20.00 higher, 500 - 600 lb 5.00 to 12.00 higher and 600 -700lb steer calves 6.00 to 10.00 higher. Heifer trade today saw 400 - 500 lb feeders 10.00 to 14.00 higher with 600 - 700 lb fully steady. Today's consignments consisted of many load lots and smaller packages of home raised, green, LTW'd and double vaccinated feeder calves. Demand was very good for today's moderate supply. Trade very active. The next scheduled feeder auction is Feb 12.
