Compared to last week feeder steers and heifer were 20.00 to 40.00 lower on limited supplies. 500 -600 lb new crop steer calves were 30.00 to 35.00 lower while 600 to 700 lb calves were 18.00 to 40.00 lower. No test on yearling cattle today. Heifer trade today saw 400 - 500 lb new crop calves 22.00 to 40.00 lower. Demand was light to moderate. Available today were reputation "home raised" calves both LTW'd and just off the cow and all vaccinated. The next feeder calf auction is November 6.
