Compared to the feeder auction 2 weeks ago, 400 -500 lb steers calves were 5.00 to 11.00 higher, 600 -700 lb 12.00 to 16.00 higher with no test on heavier yearling cattle. Heifer trade saw 450 -550 lb calves steady to 12.00 higher with 600 - 700 lb calves as much as 12.00 higher. Today's offering consisted of one very large consignment of reputation light weight calves all selling in load lots. Demand was good for today's moderate supply. The next scheduled feeder auction is June 18.
