Compared to two weeks ago steer calves under 650 lbs. although lightly tested, were mostly 8.00-10.00 higher, with the exception of the 650-700 lb. steers which were 3.00 lower, the rest of the steers over 650 lbs. sold mostly 2.00-4.00 higher. Heifer calves under 600 lbs. sold mostly 2.00-3.00 higher, while heifers over 600 lbs. were generally steady. Demand was good for the light offerings. Trade was active.
