Compared to last sale: Trade activity and demand were good. This is the second stock show special of three. Today's run comprised of pre-conditioned calves and yearlings with the majority having multiple rounds of vaccinations and most being weaned between 45-100 days. Steers calves under 650 lbs traded uneven 6.00 lower to 2.00 higher and steers over 650 lbs were 1.00 to 5.00 lower with small instances of 5.00 higher. Heifer calves under 700 lbs traded 3.00 to 14.00 higher, while heifers over 700 lbs traded 1.00 to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows were not available due to inclement weather. Replacement cattle had no comparison. The next available report will be Saturday, January 14, 2023.
