Compared to Wednesday: Feeder steers under 600 lbs traded 1.50 to 11.00 higher while those over 600 lbs traded steady to 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs traded 1.00 to 4.00 lower and those weighing above 500 lbs were 0.25 to 2.25 higher. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Today's final stock show special consisted of large runs of long time weaned cattle with at least two rounds of vaccinations. Typical wean times were 50 to 75 days. The next available report will be Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
