Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Trade activity and demand was good. Fall run seems to be a bit slow getting started so there is no trend available on feeder steers and heifers and the numbers were to low to report. Dairy heifers traded uneven, but largely looked to be steady to $2 higher. Average dress slaughter cows and bulls traded mostly $1.00 to $3.00 higher than the previous week. Next available report will be Thursday, October 8, 2026.
