Trade activity and demand was good. Today was the first combined sale so there is not an accurate trend for stocker calves and yearlings but the steers and heifers sold noticeably high across all weight classes. Dairy heifers under 1,000lbs sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower and dairy heifers over 1,000 sold 1.00 higher with instances of sharply higher. Breaker slaughter cows of average dressing sold 3.00 lower. Boner cows of average dressing sold 2.00 higher and lean cows sold 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls of average dressing sold 4.00 lower. The next combined stocker, feeder and slaughter cow sale will be next Thursday March 27, 2025.
