Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last sale: Slaughter cows traded steady to 3.00 higher and feeding cows traded steady to 4.50 higher. Slaughter bulls were too thinly tested for any comparison. Holstein heifers were mostly steady. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Today's run also included a bred cow special. Though there was nothing to compare from the last sale, demand for heavy bred cattle was strong. The next available report will be Thursday, January 13, 2022.
